SandyDuck Sediment Sample Numbering Scheme


Each sample has a unique "sample number" that adheres to the following scheme:

Location (2 to 4 characters); Month ('s' for September, 'o' for October); Day (1 or 2 characters)

i.e. B11S1 refers to the sample collected at Location 'b' (FRF coordinates cross-shore/longshore
of 385/827.5 near instrument frame 'spuv62') on September 1, 1997.
