Survey reports provide a written reference for interpretation of the data. The report contains details about the survey methods, geodetic datums referenced, and data processing procedures. Also included are data plots comparing the present survey with subsequent surveys, and any photos that were taken during the project.
The data file .3D contains the point information and is described by 14 columns of information which include: the project location, profile number, survey number, latitude, longitude, northing, easting, distance from baseline, offline distance, depth, ellipsoid value, date, time and time from midnight. The file name contains the prefix (m) meters or (ft) feet to designate units referenced in file.
